Small Business Awards: 21-50 Employees

DESCRIPTION

The Small Business Council’s three awards to small businesses are made to one business in each of the following categories: 1-20 employees, 21-50 employees, and 51-200 employees.

To qualify for the award, companies must have been in business for a minimum of three years, have shown exemplary success within their industry, and have displayed a high level of community involvement and corporate citizenship. Candidates for the awards come from the Chamber membership.


CRITERIA

Criteria for Selection:

  • Commitment to good and ethical business practices
  • Growth in employees, sales, net income, or customer base
  • Community involvement and corporate citizenship
  • Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce member in good standing as of December 31, 2008
  • A minimum of three complete/full years in business under current ownership
  • Ownership and operations in the Chattanooga area
  • Three reference letters must be included with application
