Existing Business Support

Business growth takes many forms and existing industries play a huge role in that growth.  Annually, 80% of our new jobs are created by the businesses already located here.  The Chamber is committed to supporting the health and well-being of our existing regional businesses.  The Chamber's services range from helping companies grow and expand to helping them overcome the hurdles that interfere with their day-to-day operations.

The Existing Business Development Division of the Chamber's Economic Development Department provides assistance with incentives, programs, tax credits, land/building database, alternative financing resources, employee recruitment, utility technical services, and local business climate issues.

For more information, please contact Steve Hiatt, Director of Existing Business Development, at shiatt@chattanoogachamber.com or (423) 763-4333.

Existing Business Survey

The Chamber is always working to gain a better understanding of the economy, local companies, and future changes in the Chattanooga MSA. To do this, during 2012 the Chamber committed to meet with one hundred local business leaders to hear their thoughts and input.
