Gregg’s customer-oriented approach is a key factor that has helped BlueCross BlueShield excel as a not-for-profit company while setting a high standard for corporate and community responsibility. In 2004, Business Tennessee magazine acknowledged Ms. Gregg’s state-wide influence by ranking her number 5 in its list of the "100 Most Powerful Tennesseans."

While Gregg’s prominence as a corporate leader is recognized at the state and national levels, she remains committed to Chattanooga. Thanks to her leadership, BlueCross BlueShield helped jump-start the fund-raising for the 21st Century Waterfront with a major contribution.

Gregg is also overseeing the construction of a $226 million BlueCross BlueShield headquarters campus on Cameron Hill. The project, which will be the largest private construction project in the city’s history, will literally re-shape Chattanooga’s skyline while keeping thousands of workers downtown in support of the city’s continuing revitalization effort.

Gregg serves in various capacities on a number of boards and organization. A native of Cleveland, TN, she is married to Dr. Fred Gregg, III, a practicing ohthalmologist, and has two children.
