Chamber Offers College and Career Fair for Area Se

Chattanooga, Tennessee -- The Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce is partnering with Lookout Counseling Association to sponsor the 2006 Southeastern Tennessee College & Career Fair. This event for high school juniors and seniors will be held Thursday, September 7 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Friday, September 8 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the UTC McKenzie Arena.

The College & Career Fair -- the culminating program in the Chamber’s 8th to 12th grade career readiness initiatives in our high schools – is an event that local business and industry have requested.

"The Fair offers area employers an excellent opportunity to recruit future employees from students who plan to go directly into the workforce, who are delaying their higher education or who are looking for co-op opportunities," said Chamber Director of Workforce Development and Education Mattie Moran.

Booths for the College & Career Fair are $250 each. The Chamber will provide a table and two chairs for each exhibitor. Refreshments will also be provided for exhibitors at the event.
