Chamber Wins Two Awards

Chattanooga, Tennessee -- The Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce has received two Membership Achievement Awards from the American Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE).
The Chamber received awards for achieving a Top Ten ranking in the number of new members it acquired in 2005 and the amount of dues generated by the new members.
"We are honored to be recognized by the ACCE," said Kristi Haulsee, Chamber vice president of member-investor services. "The Top Ten ranking is another confirmation that the Chattanooga Chamber’s commitment to delivering quantifiable business value is paying off for our member-investors.
"At the same time, as hundreds of new companies come together with our existing members-investors, the Chamber grows stronger and better able to serve their needs through networking, public policy advocacy and other services."
During 2005 the Chamber acquired 265 new members, representing dues in excess of $93,000. The Chamber has over 1,450 member-investor companies which employ more than 85,000 people in the Chattanooga region.
ACCE is a national association serving individuals involved in the management of chambers of all sizes. ACCE’s mission is to improve the professional effectiveness of chamber executives and to be a visible, positive influence in the management life chamber professionals.
