Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce’s Brewer, IOM, and Topel, MFA, IOM, Graduate from Institute for Organization Management

Chattanooga, Tenn. (July 13, 2017) - Sandra Brewer, IOM, Vice President of Member-Investor Services; and Sybil Topel, MFA, IOM, Vice President of Marketing and Communications; both with the Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce, recently graduated from the Institute for Organization Management and received the recognition of IOM.

Brewer and Topel completed 96 hours of course instruction in management specific to associations and chambers of commerce. Nearly 1,000 people attend Institute annually.

“Institute graduates are recognized across the country as leaders in their organizations,” said Bill Kilbride, President and CEO, Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce. “Continued professional development contributes to more effective leadership and more efficient organizations. Also participating in the program are Chamber staffers Meredith Rivers, Member-Investor Relations Manager, Honor Hostetler, Community Outreach Director, and Jeremy Henderson, Creative Projects Manager.

Since 1921, the Institute program has educated tens of thousands of association and chamber leaders on how to build stronger organizations, better serve their members and become strong business advocates. Required courses and electives cover leadership, advocacy, marketing, finance and membership.
