CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee -- Chattanooga based Smart Furniture is the newest tenant to lease space in the Two North Shore retail center located on Manufacturers Road in North Chattanooga.

“We are very pleased to announce Smart Furniture as a new tenant at Two North Shore”, said Steve Arnsdorff, developer of Two North Shore. “This exciting retailer is one of the very top names in online retailing and we are excited that they chose our location as the first location for their “bricks and mortar” studio. This is a great tenant that will complement the fine lineup of high quality local tenants we already have, such as Rock/Creek and Greenlife Grocery. Smart Furniture will only have one store in the greater Chattanooga market and we are honored that they will be launching their new retail studio concept store at Two North Shore.”

With an anticipated opening date in late October, Smart Furniture will occupy the retail space between Learning Express and BD Burke Interiors.

“We have been experimenting with the idea of launching a new type of furniture studio based on the ‘Apple Store’ concept,” stated T. J. Gentle, Smart Furniture’s President and CEO.  Gentle added, “The new Smart Furniture Studio will give customers the chance to come in, speak with our designers and work with our multimedia tools to design their own custom furniture in the showroom—while having the opportunity to see, touch and feel similar products.  Chattanooga is the natural place for us to launch this new studio concept since we have grown up in Chattanooga. The Two North Shore location is ideal for us as it is a dynamic and exciting location and many of our customers already shop or eat there.
