Consortium Salutes Employees with Disabilities; David Roche Keynotes Event
Posted September, 2006
Chattanooga, Tennesee -- David Roche will be the keynote speaker at the 6th Annual Southeast Tennessee Placement Consortium Awards Luncheon. The event will take place October 17 at 11:30 am. in the Convention Center.
Roche has transformed the lessons of lifelong facial disfigurement into a compelling message that leaves audiences entertained and encouraged to confront their own personal challenges. The story of his heroic journey from shame to strength opens hearts to courage, laughter and inspiration.
Roche’s stories reveal that his face is unique, but his experiences and message are universal. His performances and presentations have won standing ovations across the United States (including at the White House), in Canada, England and Australia, where he was a headliner at the Sydney 2000 Olympics Arts Festival.
The luncheon will honor employees with disabilities and employers who hire people with disabilities. James O. Kennedy of Kennedy, Coulter, Rushing and Watson will serve as master of ceremonies.
This will be the sixth year that Mr. Kennedy has volunteered to serve in this role. Cost is $35 for individuals, $250 for a table of eight and $250 for a corporate sponsorship table.
