What is an RSS feed?

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication, and is a common file format that enables the sharing of content between websites and site visitors. RSS feeds contain headlines, meta date, text (either full text or summaries) and hyperlinks to complete articles on ImpactWatch and other websites. You can use software known as news readers to collect headlines from multiple sources in one place. RSS feeds also allow you to easily read ImpactWatch headlines at your convenience.

How can I use RSS?

You need to install a news reader or news aggregator to use our RSS feeds. A wide variety of news aggregators can be found by searching for "news aggregator" on your favorite search engine. On most browsers, you can right-click the link and select "copy shortcut" or "copy target address" to add our headlines to your news aggregator. Some news aggregators will automatically discover our RSS feeds as you browse ImpactWatch. Please consult your news aggregator's documentation for more information.
