Cha Cha Land
As unemployment rates continued to drop, scarcity of talent to fill new jobs became a critical issue for many member investors. Anticipating member needs, we shifted our economic development marketing and communications approach to focus on talent recruitment outside our region. Our staff teamed with talented Chamber member video producers to create and launch a video series that reached more people than ever, with one video outstripping all prior records, reaching more than 160,000 viewers – all at low cost. To date, this wildly successful video series has won three Addy Awards from the American Advertising Federation as well as a Grand Award and the first ever “Literally Perfect” award from the American Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE).
A key part of our new regional approach to economic development was the creation of the Greater Chattanooga Economic Partnership website. The result of months of collaboration and research, the site now serves as the initiative’s primary digital footprint and won an Award of Excellence from ACCE.
